Well, here is my very humble abode. I know
it's not much, but soon it will something that
generations after me will be proud of. That,
I'm counting on.

I quickly got a job as an Emergency Medical
Technician. The pay wasn't much, but not much
puts more food on the table than nada. Fortunately,
this was my calling - I was good at it and I enjoyed
it.

I wasn't a very good in the beginning. I made
a lot of phone calls to Papa Sims Pizza. I always
seemed to get the same delivery girl, Marie Mazza.
She was very sweet and we seemed to click nicely.
Pretty soon we were dating and things rapidly
got serious.

I was thinking about Marie day and night. She
even made appearances in my dreams. I was
definitely in love. One day, out of the blue, I proposed
to Marie. Sure, we hadn't been dating that long, but
I was anxious to start my family and building a future
for my Legacy. Marie felt the same way and agreed.
We were married in a small, but romantic ceremony.
Marie had saved a little nest-egg for herself which
we greatly needed.

We were able to be a small but quaint house.
No, it wasn't much but it was cozy and enough
for us.

Marie decided to grow her hair long and get a
make-over. If I thought she was beautiful before,
she was a total knock-out now!! What a lucky,
lucky man I was. I had made the right decision
choosing Marie to be my wife and the future mother
of my children.

The future, however, turned out to be sooner
than we thought. Nonetheless we were both
extremely ecstatic! Our first child was on the
way - were we going to be ready?

Marie's pregnancy went very smoothly. She
had no morning sickness at all. If it weren't for
the large bulge in the middle of her belly, we
wouldn't even know she was expecting!

Unfortunately, I was already on my way to the
carpool when Marie's water broke. I didn't
know until I came home that evening that she
had gone into labor.

Well, if Marie's pregnancy had been smooth, the
labor was making up for it. What awful pains
she told me about. I only wish I could have
been there to hold her hand.

Although I have a feeling that my hand might
have been squeezed to death!

My poor wife! After hearing this horror story,
it's gonna be pretty hard to talk her into having
another baby. Maybe I'll give it a while before
bringing it up.

And then she said, there was no more pain. All
she felt was relief.

After the hours and hours of pain we had this
beautiful bundle of joy to show for it. Marie
said it had all been worth it.

On behalf of Marie and myself, we'd like to in-
troduce our precious baby girl, Hayley Marie
Gilmore. She had my eyes and hair color but
the rest is all her mother. Thank goodness!!

Marie was exhausted after the birth (of course
that was expected) so I didn't mind taking time
away from skill building to feed Hayley. My
family was on it's way to growing.

Time seemed to fly by. I had been working so
hard and finally reached my lifetime goal of
becoming Chief of Staff, I felt I hardly had time
to enjoy our baby. Hayley was getting so big.

We had a small birthday party for Hayley. We
had acquired a few friends but preferred to keep
it family only. We only wanted to share these
special moments with each other.

Hayley was mesmerized with the candles. Our
baby was now a toddler. The fun was just
beginning. Hopefully Marie and I would be up
to the challenge of running after a toddler.

Marie wasted no time trying to teach Hayley
to talk. And what do you think her first word
was? Of course, Mommy!

The toddler years flew by faster than when she
was a baby. Where does the time go?

Hayley still loves the glow of the candles.
Congratulations little one, you're growing up!

Woo hoo! Er, yipee!! What a cute little girl our
Hayley had become. What a big girl she is.

As a baby Hayley had looked like her mom. But
now she resembled me. I couldn't have been a
prouder Poppa.

Like her mother, Hayley grew her hair out.
What a beautiful little girl she had become. Soon
she would be off to school.

Now that Hayley was getting older, Marie and
I decided it was time to expand the house. I
was also trying to talk Marie into expanding our
family (*wink wink*). We still weren't able to
build Hayley her own room, but at least she has
her own bed.

Hayley and I enjoyed our time together reading stories.
She loved stories about bears.

She also enjoyed music and musical instruments.
I hope she continues this fascination. Hayley
seems to have a natural talent for it.

Well I was finally able to talk Marie into having
another baby. Actually, it wasn't that hard. With
Hayley growing up so quickly, she was beginning
to miss having little ones around. Marie said this
birth was still painful, but this time she was prepared
for it.

We gladly welcomed another daughter into our
family - Peyton Elise Gilmore. And she looked
just like her older sister.

Who loved her baby sister immediately. Hayley
thought of all the things she would teach Peyton
when she was old enough.

Talk about time flying by... here I am. About
to become an elder. It's okay though. My life
up to this point has been pretty full. I have two
beautiful daughters, a gorgeous young wife, and
I've reached the top of my career. I still wouldn't
mind having a son... I'd by thrilled for one of my
daughters to carry on mine and Marie's legacy,
but a son would carry on the family name as well.

Hmm.. what will I wish for?

I hope my wish comes true!! It will take some
negotiating though, I'm afraid.

Bring on the elderhood!! This doesn't seem so
bad... I can totally rock it!

Hayley and I share the same birthday. So soon
after I became an elder, she became a teen.

Ah, our baby is growing up!! "They" aren't
kidding when they say that time goes by so quickly.
Before we know it, we're old and gray.

My little girl is becoming a teen! Don't think just
because I'm an elder I can't take a shotgun to
some frisky teen townie!!

Oh great! Looks like the frisky teen is going to
be my Hayley. Wouldn't you know it - a Romance
sim just like her mother was when we first got
married. I'm too old for this... (*Note* Marie
was a Romance sim when she moved in, but I
decided to take the -1pt and change her into a
Family sim. Guess the Legacy fates are getting
back at me now!)

There she is, my little Romance sim.

Changing her appearance again. What a
beautiful "almost woman" Hayley had become.
She'll be off to college soon, away from home and
around all those young adult boys. Whippersnappers!
Better get my shotgun ready...
